The Nine Tailors - Dorothy L. Sayers

Wow! This book is so awesome. I love reading it. Dorothy Leigh Sayers is very good at what she does. Mystery is no exception. I enjoy the way she wrote this book and how she pieces it all together. Some of her friends were: C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterton, and T.S. Elliot. The Nine Tailors is considered by many to be her finest work of fiction. I really enjoy this fantastic work of literature and hope you do as well.

Cheaper by the Dozen - Frank Gilbreth Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey

This book is hilarious! It has got to be on the list of my "top 10 most enjoyable books." The Gilbreth family love each other and do some of the funniest things imaginable. One of the reasons I enjoyed this book is because they are proud to be a large family. The culture looks down on them and on other large families but we need to change the culture by bringing these large families back.

Chosen by God - R. C. Sproul

Here is another great book. This book teaches of predestination and God's sovereign hand in history as well as election and other such things. Before I read it, I was quite confused about how God can plan all of history and yet give us a free will. Isn't that contradictory? Well, Dr. Sproul tackles this question and lays it out in an easy-to-read sort of way. Wonderful book. I want to read it again. It has taught me so much.

The Holiness of God - R. C. Sproul

In this book, Dr. R. C. Sproul goes into a deep study about what God's holiness really means. Without it, He would be likened to a pagan god of Rome. God's holiness is an essential belief of the Christian faith.
I'm telling you, this is a book you've got to read. This isn't one of those boring books where you get lost in the first sentence. No, Dr. Sproul is easy to read and easy to understand. He is full of wisdom and has many wonderful stories in this book to share. I hope you come to treasure this book as I do.

God Bless,

The Screwtape Letters - C. S. Lewis

This is another wonderful book by C. S. Lewis. It is something you must read over and over because you just can't read it once and get all of it. There is so much in Lewis's books that each time you finish it, you just want to read it again.
If you haven't ever read any of Lewis's books, I suggest you get started. There is a lot to read!

In Christ,

The Go-Giver - Bob Burg & John David Mann

The Go-Giver is a wonderful little book. It covers so much in it that it still blows my mind. Not only does it cover business skills, but it covers so much more. "We need to give, give, give," as one line in the book said.
So many people today do not have the time to give (including myself). We need to get a hold of this book and follow the principles of it. They will change our life if we do.

Mere Christianity - C. S. Lewis

This is definitely one of C. S. Lewis's greatest works. He is magnificent in his fictional books, but is not ill equipped in theological matters. In this book, Lewis explains why he believes in Christianity and, obviously, what Christianity is. I mean, C. S. Lewis was a genius. His many literary works keep him alive and well. His witty humor and style of writing is like no other. He is fun and easy to read but yet has such deep and meaningful thought. I highly recommend this book. It will not let you down.
